Classical Music




One of the most well known genres due to its various compositions that is made today as songs. There are subtypes that consist of classical music but it originated in the western culture. While the genre was not yet concluded, its first music was composed and standardized in religious music. Its characteristics were defined as sophisticated and intricate for the purpose of achieving accuracy in the notations as well as the harmony of the compositions it makes. The genre continuously develops as each era passes until today.


"Symphony No. 5" by Beethoven

Regarded as the most well-known composer until today is Ludwig van Beethoven. A german composer that made Symphony 5 which is mostly heard in cartoon shows(Tom and Jerry) as well as played and learned by a number of orchestras and musicians. The piece is still popular and remarkable because of its compelling energy of the entire first movement that is made from only a short opening of four notes. Canon in D that is composed by Pachelbel are remade in the form of cover videos, social media applications as well as performed in wedding songs. It is one of the best-known pieces of classical music ever written before and continued to be known today. The composer wrote this piece with tight harmonies and the three pretty and satisfying violin tunes, concluding that Pachelbel’s approach accompanied by his great skill to writing the music was almost mathematical.
